Job Overview and ResponsibilitiesInteract in a professional and courteous manner with the publicSafely direct vehicular, pedestrian and construction traffic thru the work zoneKeeping the work zone safe of potential hazards before and after initial sign set upAssist with setting up and tearing down work zones which includes signs, barricades and delineatorsRequires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November)Comply with safe working procedures and practicesOther duties as requiredPREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO LOCAL CANDIDATES
