Our client, a healthcare and food service organization, is seeking a Préposé(e) à la préparation des repas/ Food Prep Worker to join their team. As a Préposé(e) à la préparation des repas/ Food Prep Worker, you will be part of the Food Services Department supporting the kitchen and food preparation team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a robust work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Préposé(e) à la préparation des repas/ Food Prep Worker

Location: SAINT-LAURENT, QC

Pay Rate: $25/hr - $32/hr

Shift: Start Time: 5:30 AM, Hours Per Shift: 8

What's the Job?

- Prepare and portion food items according to standardized recipes and production requirements
- Use daily worksheets to ensure accurate food preparation and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food preparation area
- Handle food with proper knife skills and temperature control techniques
- Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

What's Needed?

- Minimum of one year of food preparation or related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of food prep, sanitation, and proper knife handling
- Ability to read and write for effective communication
- Mathematical skills for measurements and portioning
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
