We are recruiting for an energetic, business savvy, and driven Project Manager/Estimator to join our Service Division in our Kelowna office.About this role
Houle's Service Division provides electrical solutions across a wide range of market sectors, working with clients to ensure predictable and safe operation of their facilities. Our teams manage all aspects of the job from estimating and tendering to financials, procurement, dispatch, and scheduling.Here’s how your role will strengthen our team
Working alongside our solutions-oriented team of skilled project managers and estimators, you’ll blend your technical experience with a commitment to customer service to deliver successful projects and build lasting client relationships.Your responsibilities
Work with clients and identify potential business opportunitiesEstimate and manage service work orders and electrical projects valued up to $2 million, from initiation through closeoutPrepare estimates, quotations, change orders and submit tenders for service and project workReview contracts for onerous clauses and conditionsMaintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end usersManage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labour for service work orders and small projects up to $2 million in valueMitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as neededWork with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track,



on budget and meet expectationsBe present on jobsites when required and review project upon completion to discuss success and challengesYour experience and skills
Electrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate2 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or EstimatingPrevious experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid (Accubid Pro and Change Order) an assetProven ability to build strong relationshipsStrong attention to detail and good organizational skillsStrong communication and team working skillsGood computer skills including MS Office, Procore, Teams, etc.About Houle

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.Contract type: Full-timeLocation: Kelowna, BCPosting end date: Open until filled
