Job Duties

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Remove garbage and recycling and transport them to designated disposal areas.
- Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as required.
- Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.

Requirements

- No formal education required.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
