Terms of Employment: Full-time, year-round permanent employment at a remote resort location. Onsite living is available. Food provided for $175 bi-weekly.

Wage: $18 – $20 / hour

Education: No Degree Certificate or Diploma

Work Experience: 1 Year to Less than 2 Years

Job Duties: Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items according to resort standards.

Handle food preparation, portioning, and plating for guest meals and staff meals as required.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
Follow menu recipes and procedures to ensure food quality at all times.
Receive, store, and rotate food inventory to support fresh, consistent meal service in a remote location.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and safe food handling practices.




Work cooperatively with other kitchen and resort staff to support timely meal service during busy periods.
Follow proper procedures for refrigeration, freezing, thawing, and safe food storage.
Assist with basic menu planning, prep lists, and daily kitchen organization as needed.

Other duties as required to help the team deliver an exceptional experience.

Job Requirements:
At least 1-2 years cooking experience in a hotel, lodge, resort, camp, or similar high-volume kitchen environment is required.
Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices is required.
Ability to work year-round in a remote setting and adapt to seasonal fluctuations in guest volume.
Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen duties throughout a shift.
Strong teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude in a small resort environment.
Valuable attention to detail for food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Reliable transportation or the ability to travel to Sioux Narrows, Ontario is required.
