Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality ultrasound imaging & reporting for a varied caseload within the department, and on the ward as required.
- Show high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- The role will be largely based around Gynaecology service and patients.
- As a Bank Worker, you'll be called on to provide cover during periods of sickness, holidays or increased workload.
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Post-Graduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
- Post registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
- Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and IT skills, along with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective team work.
