As an Equipment Manager, you will oversee plant equipment and maintenance in a hands-on capacity. You'll engage with suppliers for installation and commissioning while developing robust daily maintenance and spare-parts systems. Your leadership will ensure minimal downtime and effective cost management as you lead a team focused on reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain comprehensive equipment asset records
- Lead equipment installation, acceptance testing, and commission reports
- Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime
- Supervise daily operations of the maintenance team
- Own safety performance and ensure compliance in all maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- 5+ years in equipment/maintenance role in manufacturing
- Engineering diploma/degree preferred
- Experience with die casting machinery highly desired
- Red Seal or equivalent trade qualification is an asset
- Proficient in CAD and technical documentation
