Line Cook – Tuscany Restaurant

Location: Bowen Island, BC — approximately a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay
Pay: $24–$27 per hour + tips (typically $5-$7 per hour), depending on experience

Tuscany Restaurant is looking for an experienced, reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team on Bowen Island.

We are a busy, established Italian restaurant serving pizza, pasta and seasonal Italian-inspired dishes. We are looking for someone who is organized, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a small, supportive kitchen team.

Responsibilities

- Work assigned stations during prep and service

- Prepare and cook menu items consistently and efficiently

- Follow recipes, portioning and presentation standards

- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked station

- Assist with daily prep

- Communicate clearly with the chef and other kitchen staff during service

- Help with receiving and putting away deliveries as needed

- Follow food safety,



sanitation and cleaning standards

- Support the rest of the kitchen team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

- Previous professional kitchen experience

- Strong line-cooking skills

- Ability to work efficiently during busy services

- Reliable, punctual and organized

- Positive attitude and strong teamwork

- Comfortable working in a small kitchen setting

- Experience with Italian food, pasta or pizza is an asset

- FoodSafe certification is an asset
