A career as a Chief Advisor in theStrategy and Corporate Development team at National Bank means contributing to the Bank'ssuccess by acting as a professional recognized by senior management in M&A,strategic partnerships, financial analysis and corporate strategy. It meansinfluencing strategic and financial decisions to ensure the Bank's optimalpositioning. It also means representing the Bank by participating as an expert in project management and inseveral initiatives related to strategy or corporate development with thirdparties, consultants, advisors or influential organizations .This position allows you to have apositive impact on our organization, thanks to your expertise in corporate strategy andthe identification of business opportunities and your keen interest in theanalysis, negotiation and execution of mergers, acquisitions and strategicpartnership projects. It is through your creative mind, your strategic visionand your rigor that you contribute to the success of a wide variety of projectswith high impact on the organization.Analyze the business context and identify business opportunitiesParticipate in the analysis, negotiation and execution of M&A, corporate divestment and strategic partnership activitiesCoordinate the financial analysis of the various projectsParticipate in the development and regular follow-up of the Bank's strategic plan and annual business planSupport in the identification of organic growth areasConduct various other analyses as requested by senior management to improve the Bank's strategic positioningManage or contribute to matrix project teams for the analysis and, where appropriate, the realization of organic or acquisition-based growth or divestment opportunities, including by engaging and collaborating with designated staff from other Bank units and external resources assigned to projectsMonitor (benchmark) strategic and corporate development initiatives for the competitionYour teamWithin the Strategy and Corporate Development group, you will be part of a team of 7 colleagues and report directly to the VP, Corporate Development Strategy.The team's mission is to be a centre of expertise for environmental strategic monitoring, advice on the development of corporate strategy and the evaluation of investments or strategic partnerships. Monitoring and identifying business opportunities in line with strategic objectives are also part of our mandate.PrerequisiteIndustry-related bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience or industry-related master's degree and 6 years of relevant experienceExperience in team management in matrix modeExperience in business strategy or corporate developmentExperience in valuation, business acquisition and due diligenceAbility to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlinesExcellent listening, communication,
