RMX Plant Operator (Batcher)Requisition ID: 17650Location:Ottawa, ON, CA, K1G 3K2Pay Type: HourlyPosition type: Full-time / HourlyEstimated Wage Range $22.00-$28.00/HourlyTravel Requirement: Civil Engineering degree or Technologist diploma, or equivalent professional experience.Field of Study Preferred: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.Required Work Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in concrete manufacturing or related operations.Required Training/Certifications: Thorough understanding of the concrete manufacturing process. Sound knowledge of union collective agreements preferred.Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in batching and inventory control platforms (e.G., Command, SAP), general computer literacy, operational analytics/KPI tracking software.Travel Requirements: Up to 5% travel outside the local market area.Additional RequirementsStrong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle financial tracking and daily operational decision-making.Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
