"Chief Wrench" Position avaiable
Emerald Plastics is a Regina blow-moulder running polycarbonate and PET. We need a mechanic who can keep our PC machines running all week and then pull a wheel off a heavy truck Monday afternoon.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and PM our PC blow-moulding machines hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, heaters, controls, mould changes.
- Service dryers, chillers, compressed air, conveyors, and grinders
- Maintain and repair light-duty vehicles (pickups, vans, delivery units)
- Maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks (Class 38) brakes, air, driveline, suspension, emissions, electrical.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults with proper test gear.
- Weld and fabricate for repairs and small builds.
- Keep clean PM schedules, parts logs, and records.
- Respond fast and safely to production breakdowns.
What we're looking for
- Journeyman Industrial Mechanic (Millwright),
Heavy Duty Equipment Tech, or Automotive Service Tech ticket or 5+ years verifiable equivalent
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC-controlled equipment, 3-phase electrical
- Comfortable reading schematics and service manuals
- MIG welding required; TIG/stick an asset
- Blow moulding or extrusion experience a strong plus.
- Class 5 required; Class 1 or 3 an asset
- Legally able to work in Canada
Compensation
- $25$45/hr on tickets and experience
- overtime annual performance bonus tied to uptime, PM, and safety
- full advantages after 3 months (health, dental, vision, prescription)

- paid ticket renewals
- vacation per Sask standards 3-month review.
