About the Job:

Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a full-time General Sales Manager , based in Lethbridge, AB .

What you’ll do

- Develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue targets and drive market growth
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the local sales team through hiring, training, performance management, and ongoing support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and community partners
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow market share
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
- Develop a strong understanding of the radio and digital advertising landscape,



including emerging technologies and industry trends
- Work collaboratively with Programming, Promotions, Production, and other departments to deliver successful client campaigns
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and revenue updates for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Coordinate advertising schedules to ensure campaigns are delivered as promised
- Lead and actively participate in sales meetings, providing direction, coaching, and motivation to the team
- Represent Vista Radio at community events, industry functions, and networking opportunities
- Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

- Minimum five (5) years of sales management experience within the radio industry
- Strong knowledge of radio advertising, digital marketing solutions, and consultative sales techniques
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term client and agency relationships
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute revenue growth plans
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills




- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require
