Responsibilities

- Report to the Operations Manager.
- Vehicle processing: draining appropriate automobile fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, etc.).
- Remove non‑ferrous material, catalytic converters, tires, rims and other components.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

- High‑school diploma, CAEC/GED, or comparable assessment pass.
- No prior experience required, but experience in a manufacturing, production or scrap yard/auto‑parts environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of automotive components is an asset.
- Valid Class5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation to/from a remote location.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting and pushing/pulling up to 50lb).
- Willingness to work in variable weather conditions (hot or cold), dust, odors, fumes and noise.
- Organized,



able to prioritize competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills – clear verbal, mobile‑radio and written communication.
- Polite, friendly customer‑service orientation and strong work ethic.
