On behalf of our valued client, we are currently seeking a Insurance Advisor ( Personal Lines and Small Commercial) to join the team. This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys building client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and identifying opportunities to grow their insurance expertise.

What You Will Do
- Sell new business and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Provide ongoing service and support to personal lines clients
- Respond promptly to client questions and concerns through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Provide advice regarding insurance coverage options
- Assess client needs and risks to recommend appropriate coverage
- Identify potential coverage gaps and calculate premiums
- Enter and maintain accurate client information within the brokerage management system
- Complete applications for recent clients and prepare documentation for insurers
- Issue insurance binders as required
- Communicate with insurance companies and underwriters regarding policy changes, renewals, and new business
- Follow up with adjusters regarding claims status
- Update insurance summaries to reflect client-requested changes
- Maintain accurate activity records and manage workload effectively
- Follow established branch workflows and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Alberta General Level 1 Insurance Licence
- Up to 3 + years of personal lines, minimum 1 year of small commercial insurance experience
- Ability to speak Punjabi is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Epic is considered an asset
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, think critically, and remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to providing prompt and exceptional customer service
- Effective time-management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to accuracy, consistency, and reliability
- Ability to establish positive rapport with clients and colleagues
