We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to join "Team Green." In this role, you will be serving as a critical link between our dispatch team, field drivers, customers, and management. You will handle daily work order processing, track compliance documentation, and ensure our rapid‑paced daily logistics run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Track, and process operational work orders daily. Ensure all customer records, billing, and order changes are entered accurately into internal operating systems (OMS).
- Answer incoming customer inquiries regarding service tracking, statements, or updates. Collaborate closely with Dispatch, Office Administration, and Account Managers to resolve field issues.
- Review field paperwork for accuracy, verify missing job documentation, assist with vendor invoice posting, and generate purchase orders (POs) or expense tracking logs.
- Ensure field technicians have up-to-date training certificates, organize health and safety documentation, and always model GFL’s safety‑first workplace culture.




- Participates in the after-hours / on‑call program
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi‑task in a busy environment with unexpected interruptions.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of French is considered a strong asset, but is not required for this position.
- Computer savvy, working knowledge of Google applications. Ability to quickly master proprietary dispatch, routing, and order management software (OMS).
