The Buyer plays an key role in supporting day-to-day operations across the mill. You'll be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services to meet the needs of multiple departments.

What You'll Do:

- Source & purchase supplies, services, & materials to support operational needs
- Review & evaluate supplier and contractor proposals
- Communicate business needs to vendors & coordinate sourcing activities
- Review purchasing requests to ensure alignment with company policies & standards
- Manage workload & purchasing backlog to meet timelines
- Monitor inventory levels & take action as needed
- Build positive working relationships with internal teams & external partners




- Participate in cross-training within the Purchasing department
- Rotating weekend on-call schedule

What You Bring:

- Purchasing designation or certification is an asset, but not required
- Experience in procurement or an industrial setting is an asset, but not required
- Comfortable using computers & basic programs
- Willingness to learn new systems & processes
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset & ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
