Co‑ordinator of Program Services
This is a full‑time position.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of the principles of learning and behavior
- Knowledge of ethical standards for the application of behavioral programs
- Knowledge of a variety of functional and adaptive behavior and behavioral assessments
- Knowledge of major trends and concepts within the field of intellectual disabilities
- Experience and/or formal training in the design, application and supervision of developmental programs
- Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Instructional and supervisory skills and decision‑making ability
- Ability to work independently with individuals and with groups
- Health‑care related experience would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- CPR & First Aid certification
- A criminal record check with vulnerable sector is required
Education
Preference will be given to applicants who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (or other related discipline) with an emphasis in learning and behavioral psychology, or an equivalent combination of experience and formal training, including CLD Level II and III.
