Duties & Responsibilities

- Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble and repair the on road equipment efficiently and effectively
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely
- Use related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
- Accurately document on work orders all unit information, actions taken, and time spent
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely,



and to accepted standards
- Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
- Work with equipment engineers to diagnose and fulfill warranty requirements
- Road test equipment and verify repairs as required
- Other duties as required

Required Experience

- Previous mechanical experience in a truck and coach environment is required
- Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Transport technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
- Experience with electrical diagnosis/troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems is considered an asset
- Must be committed to customer service and service excellence
