About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join a high-performing team supporting a major government/enterprise environment in East Ottawa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow solutions across the platform. This is an on-site position, requiring a technically strong developer who is comfortable working in a secure setting and collaborating closely with architects, business analysts, administrators, and government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow workflows and Flow Designer.
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, approvals, notifications, and automated processes.
- Configure and maintain ACLs, roles, groups, and user access controls.
- Support ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and other platform modules as required.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and web services.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, workflow, scripting, and platform issues.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, releases, testing,



and deployments.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and defect resolution.
- Work with technical architects and senior developers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create technical documentation, solution designs, configuration documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Support production incidents and provide technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve ServiceNow processes and platform capabilities.
