Our client is a fast-growing consumer packaged goods company building a category-leading brand across North America. We're looking for a People & Culture Manager to join the team! Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the organization. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role that combines talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement, and process improvement within a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
What you'll do:
- Partner with leadership to support day-to-day People & Culture initiatives across the organization
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
- Manage HR operations including employee relations, benefits administration, policy interpretation, and compliance
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, workplace events, and culture-building programs
- Support the development and improvement of HR processes, systems,
and documentationLeverage AI tools and technology to streamline workflows and improve the employee experience
What we're looking for:
- 5–8 years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or People & Culture roles
- Experience within CPG, FMCG, retail, or another high-growth consumer business is considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, low-ego approach
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and helping build scalable people processes in a growing organization
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience with UKG Pro or a comparable HRIS platform
- CHRP designation (completed or in progress)
- Experience planning employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives
- Previous experience supporting a scaling or rapidly growing organization
