Transform lives as a Clinical Psychologist with Carewest in Red Deer, Alberta. Deliver assessments and treatments to military personnel and first responders in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
In this full time position, you will conduct diagnostic clinical assessments and design tailored treatment plans for clients referred by Veterans' Affairs Canada, RCMP, and CAF. Your expertise in evidence-based mental health interventions will support individuals dealing with operational stress injuries and related conditions. You will play a critical role in program evaluation and development, ensuring the highest quality of care for clients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide diagnostic clinical assessments for clients
• Design personalized treatment plans with the team
• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy interventions
• Utilize monitoring tools to gauge treatment effectiveness
• Participate in program evaluation and collaborative goal setting
Requirements:
• Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology
• Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• Experience with military or public safety personnel
• Advanced clinical experience in trauma and anxiety disorders
• Proven skills in psychological assessment and psychotherapy
