Assistant Manager – Store Operations Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Store Operations Manager in leading the day‑to‑day operations, customer service, and training at a Marks outlet.

Responsibilities

- Lead the customer service team, coaching and ensuring delivery of service standards.
- Manage B2B orders and coach the team to ensure accurate and timely ordering and delivery.
- Provide an omni‑channel experience by facilitating in‑store eCommerce sales and fulfilling eCommerce orders within defined service levels.
- Process and move inventory to the sales floor to support the customer experience.
- Communicate and ensure compliance with all operating procedures, processes, and policies.
- Schedule and follow up on shipping/receiving, eCommerce fulfillment operations, cash management, and operations systems & compliance.
- Assist in preparation and execution of annual inventories.
- Assume responsibility for all store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Communicate a clear Daily Game Plan and lead Shift Starter meetings and coaching sessions.
- Maintain performance management expectations,



including progressive discipline and the disciplinary process.
- Promote a positive, safe, inclusive, and empowering work environment.

Qualifications

- 3‑5 years of retail experience.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support.
- Strong communication, organizational and training skills.
- Ability to build and manage a daily and weekly plan for the department and store.
- Basic computer skills.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed.

Salary

Typical range: $34,800 to $43,500.
