Responsibilities
- Prepare job descriptions, post vacancies and manage the recruitment process.
- Conduct new employee orientation and current employee training.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure employees are supported in their work environment.
- Monitor the health and safety of all employees and implement systematic employee development processes.
- Provide advice on policies and procedures and ensure meticulous payroll and benefits management.
- Discuss issues affecting employee performance with staff and maintain accurate employee information in electronic and digital formats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in human resources.
- Payroll training or certification is beneficial.
- Labor relations certification is beneficial.
- Experience as a skills development facilitator is an advantage.
- Ability to engage in meaningful negotiation and settlement.
- Knowledge of labor law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Protect the interests of all employees.
Employment Details
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Day, Evening, Shift, Overtime, Morning)
- Salary: $37.00 - $49.13 per hour
- Experience: 1 year to 2 years preferred
