This part-time role is essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services at St. Paul’s Hospital and Mt St Joseph Hospital. You will conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal and obstetrical while ensuring patient safety. Collaborating with a dedicated team and participating in committee activities are key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and review clinical history
• Perform ultrasound examinations using appropriate imaging techniques
• Assist radiologists during procedures while maintaining aseptic technique




• Review images for quality and prepare documentation for consultation
• Monitor and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Diagnostic Sonography program
• Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS required
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safe work procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
• Physical capability to perform the duties of the position
