On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Cards for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2.5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Project Manager - Cards - Job Description:

The Project Manager - Cards will lead credit card initiatives from planning to deployment, ensuring successful business outcomes. This role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, focusing on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

- Provides guidance to the project sponsor for successful project outcomes
- Manages business, operational, and technology deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- Develops and socializes change management plans, ensuring effective adoption
- Executes project requirements within governance frameworks, focusing on risk and compliance
- Monitors and controls project deliverables, making necessary adjustments
- Advises on the viability of the business case and manages project risks




- Communicates effectively with stakeholders and leads project meetings
- Manages overall project budget and negotiates contracts with vendors

Project Manager - Cards - Mandatory Skills:

- 7+ years of relevant experience
- 6 to 8 years of project management experience
- In-depth entrepreneurial and judgment skills
- Proficient in verbal & written communication
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Project Manager - Cards – Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Valid PMP designation from PMI
- Experience with industry contacts for competitive insights
- Ability to manage ambiguity
- Familiarity with banking regulatory standards

Project Manager - Cards – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
