Employees from diverse backgrounds are empowered through engagement, involvement, and growth opportunities in the workplace.LocationDomeSchedule4x3The PositionThe Chief Engineer leads a multi-disciplinary team of technical staff at our Surface oeprstionsAccountable for the delivery of realistic and reliable mining plans by managing all mine engineering activities at the mine site, for safe work methods and procedures for all members of the department, for the pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities of mine operations and for the management of site specific technical services workforce and budgetKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implementation and review of applicable systems, standards and procedures to manage all Mine Engineering function.Reporting of performance statistics for monthly and quarterly business needsIntegrate geotechnical guidance into mining plan.Short-Term PlanningScheduling and tracking of all relevant mining activities for 0-12 months.Planning and design of all relevant mining activities including drill and blast, mine scheduling, mine backfill and power distribution.Operations progress and Spatial Compliance trackingSurveying,
