Our financial services client is seeking a Operations Analyst (1-2 years of experience) to support collateral settlement and fixed income trading activities using SWIFT and Loan IQ

This role supports key operational processes within collateral settlement for fixed income trading activities in a banking environment. The position focuses on fixed income settlements, reconciliations, cash processing, and exception management across domestic and international markets. Candidates will work on BAU operations and upcoming projects within a small team environment. This is a long-term contract prospect with possible extension and conversion.

Contract, Hybrid, 3 days currently, may increase to 4 days onsite

Must Haves

- Capital Markets experience within fixed income settlements and payments
- Canadian fixed income settlements and US fixed income settlements processing
- Settlements , reconciliations ,



and transaction interpretation within defined SLA boundaries
- 1-2 years supporting Repo , Security Lending , or Collateral settlement operations
- CSC or other Finance certifications

Nice to Have

- SWIFT experience
- Loan IQ exposure
- Knowledge of CSA agreements and GMRA processes

Responsibilities

- Process cash Principal and Interest settlements in Loan IQ for CSA agreements
- Execute cash settlements using SWIFT MT202 and MT103 messages
- Manage exceptions arising from trade discrepancies and reconciliation breaks
- Resolve depository and cash breaks related to fixed income operations
- Support collateral settlement processes for fixed income trading activities
- Participate in projects through test case execution and project status communication
- Maintain and update written procedures for operational processes
