SUMMARYUnder limited supervision, the Technical Services Specialist provides on-site pre- and post-sales technical expertise to external and internal customers for a product or product group to promote customer satisfaction and sales growth.JOB DUTIESFluid power technical support for our staff and customers and our Vaughan branchHydraulic calculations and design of fluid power circuits to meet customer applicationsCreation of hydraulic schematics and component selection as required3D modelling of hydraulic systems and manifoldsCreating test procedures and assisting in testing custom fluid power packagesEngineering manualsField service support, if required, for our service technicians and technical sales repsWorking with our other Motion groups such as Motion AI, Repair and Service shops and Conveyance to provide value-added turnkey solutionsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCETypically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field and two (2) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESAdvanced understanding of products,
suppliers and key vendors.Advanced knowledge of applicable software and programming technology.Knowledge and capability for the on-site installation component of product/service solutions.PHYSICAL DEMANDSTravel required.COMPENSATION$73,383.50 - $98,318.39 Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
