As a Permanent Part time Tissue Recovery Coordinator, you will play a critical role at Trillium Gift of Life Network. This position requires expertise in surgical recovery, packaging and transporting tissues, and assessing potential tissue donors. Your work will directly impact the organ donation and transplantation process, making a significant difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surgical recovery of eye tissue from donors
• Package and transport tissues following TGLN standards
• Assess medical suitability of tissue donors




• Conduct blood draws and physical examinations
• Maintain and prepare necessary equipment and supplies
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in health sciences or related field
• Four years’ experience in health sciences
• Certification in eye or tissue banking is an asset
• Valid class G driver's license required
• Strong communication and attention to detail
