- Serve as a technical reference in claims actuarial science by leading analyses of complex claims, indemnity costs, and claim settlement expense issues
- Develop, maintain, and enhance predictive models, analytical solutions, and business intelligence tools
- Analyze performance indicators, claims frequencies, costs, and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas
- Advise business partners and operational teams with analyses and recommendations to influence decision-making
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and professional development for actuarial analysts
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address business needs and promote actuarial expertise
- Synthesize, simplify, and communicate complex actuarial concepts to managers, executives, and operational partners
- Adapt priorities in a fast-paced operational environment to evolving business needs and urgent situations

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of relevant actuarial experience
- Experience ideally within the property and casualty insurance industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another related discipline
- Robust expertise in predictive modeling, quantitative analysis, and statistical techniques
- Proficiency in SAS, Power BI, Python, and R




- Advanced French proficiency for daily communication and collaboration with Francophones
- Technical leadership and actuarial expertise
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues and recommend innovative solutions
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and tailor communications to diverse audiences
- Proactive, curious, and continuous improvement mindset
