Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist in the mining sector, located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

We are seeking a procurement professional to support sourcing, contracting, supplier relationship management, and operational readiness initiatives. Working closely with category leaders and business stakeholders, you will help drive commercial value, supply assurance, and contract optimization across MRO, OEM equipment, parts, and technical services categories.

Typical Day

- Support strategic sourcing initiatives across MRO, OEM equipment, parts,



and technical services
- Conduct commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract administration activities
- Collaborate with category leaders and key stakeholders to identify value opportunities
- Manage supplier relationships to improve performance and supply assurance
- Analyze total cost of ownership and support contract optimization initiatives
- Contribute to operational readiness planning and procurement execution activities

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or category management
- Experience within mining owner‑operator environments preferred
- Transferable experience from EPC, heavy industrial, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Solid commercial negotiation and contract management skills
- Effective collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders and suppliers
- Willingness to work fully onsite in Saskatoon with occasional travel to project sites
