Intermediate Electrical Engineer – Nuclear

We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Markham or Kincardine to assist in nuclear power plant projects.

You will be part of a growing team embedded in the transformation of Ontario’s nuclear fleet, working on critical projects, some of the most ambitious clean energy programs in the world.

Responsibilities

- Prepare design change notice packages for electrical modifications, address design related field issues.




- Provide active support to field issues and field initiated changes and facilitate a positive outcome with construction teams.
- Knowledge of MCC, power system design.
- Interface with construction/procurement partners and utility stakeholders, throughout the lifecycle of the design project.

What You Will Bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

- Relevant experience in electrical design is required.
- Experience with nuclear projects is considered necessary. In depth knowledge and experience of use of appropriate nuclear codes and standards.
- Good time management skills and demonstrated capability to interface effectively with customers.

Education & Qualifications

Required:

- A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
- P. Eng (Ontario) designation preferred or to be able to register.
