Job Title: Bartender/Server

Location: Three Sisters’ Branch, Royal Canadian Legion, Canmore, Alberta

Position Overview

The Bartender/Server is responsible for providing courteous, efficient bar and table service in the Legion lounge. This role supports a welcoming workplace for members and guests while ensuring responsible alcohol service and maintaining a clean, well-organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities

- Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Alberta liquor regulations and Legion policies.
- Provide friendly, attentive service to members and guests, taking food and drink orders accurately.
- Handle cash and POS transactions, balance cash outs, and follow Legion financial procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar, lounge, tables,



and equipment; restock supplies as needed.
- Monitor guest consumption and uphold responsible service standards.
- Assist with lounge setup for events and Legion functions as required.
- Comply with all safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- Any other duties as required.

Qualifications

- ProServe certification (or equivalent) required.
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude.
