Salary and Benefits: According to the provincial salary grid ( )plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a Northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.

Qualifications:

- Saskatchewan Skilled A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
- Additional coursework in Special/Inclusive Education would be considered an asset
- Willingness to acquire any Special/Inclusive Ed courses needed is required (through NLSD Sponsorship)
- Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, adaptive dimension, differentiation, curriculum, environmentand assessment
- Knowledge of a variety of specific student needs that may include learning disabilities, attentional difficulties, autism, multiple disabilities, cognitive disabilities etc.
- Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently

The successful candidate will:

- Work within a team to support students with diverse needs in the following ways:
- Complete referrals




- Create Inclusion and Intervention Plans (IIPs)
- Mentor educationalassistants
- Collaborate and consult with student services consultants, specialists, outside agencies, andparents

- Monitor andparticipatein programming that addresses students' criticalneeds
- Other duties as assigned by the schooladministration
