The Logistics Associate supports shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and backroom merchandising for the Bloor St. store. This full-time role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing merchandise, preparing product for the sales floor, and supporting e-commerce and in-store transfer orders. The role works closely with the store team and Logistics Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and backroom standards.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming merchandise from warehouse, vendors, and other stores and follow quality control and receiving processes
- Prep product for placement on the sales floor and maintain stock levels
- Oversee outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of labels and packing slips; ship RTVs to warehouse
- Pick e-commerce and IST orders and meet targeted unit-per-hour pick rates
- Manage in-transit, shipping, e-commerce and IST documentation and reply to OMNI customer service emails
- Maintain a clean,
organized shipping/receiving area and overall backroom standards
- Assist with seasonal inventory preparations, counts, and ad-hoc logistics projects
- Identify, report and troubleshoot discrepancies and support on-the-floor activities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a logistics role, preferably in a luxury workplace
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail in processing incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and perform physical tasks (bend, kneel, stand)
- Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Accountability for ensuring merchandise is received, scanned and tagged appropriately
