Our Victoria Street Clinic in Hamilton is seeking a driven and skilled Community Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role provides the opportunity to work predominantly within our ACC Concussion and Pain contracts, supporting clients to achieve meaningful outcomes and improve their quality of life.

This is a permanent full-time position offering a varied caseload across the community and clinic settings. You will work alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team, delivering client-centred rehabilitation programmes and contributing to positive health outcomes for people experiencing the effects of concussion and persistent pain.

Main Responsibilities

- Deliver assessment and rehabilitation services for clients under ACC Concussion and Pain contracts
- Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation programmes in both community and clinic settings
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, rehabilitation consultants, and other allied health professionals
- Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, goal setting, and progress reviews
- Prepare high-quality reports outlining client abilities, goals, recommendations, and treatment outcomes
- Utilise diary management and clinical software systems effectively
- Support clients to achieve independence, return to meaningful activities, and improve functional outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

- NZ Physiotherapy registration with a current APC
- Experience working within ACC-funded rehabilitation services is preferred
- Experience or a strong interest in concussion rehabilitation and pain management
- Understanding of a biopsychosocial approach to rehabilitation
- Full New Zealand Driver Licence, as community-based work is required
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
