Skill Requirements

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: Will train

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Testing Equipment and Methods: Visual inspection, Nondestructive tests

Type of Work Experience: Construction, Oil or gas pipelines

Specific Skills: Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Computer use

Other: Clean driver's abstract and ability to travel are required. Experience driving a 5 ton truck is an asset. First Aid Certificate., H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, and TDG are required.
