The Work

As part of a dynamic commercial team, the Commercial Mortgage Underwriter is responsible for underwriting conventional commercial mortgages.

- Analyze and underwrite commercial credit facilities and submit approvals.
- Communicate with internal contacts and external partners to process transactions timely.
- Review pipeline and manage deal flow to meet deadlines.
- Perform administration and reporting duties.

Requirements

- Bilingualism is required.
- Minimum 2 years commercial mortgage or SFR underwriting experience.
- Post‑secondary education (diploma/degree) in business or finance preferred.




- Good working knowledge of MS Office.
- Robust analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Access to a vehicle for site inspections.
