- Execute and lead programs related to the assessment, monitoring, management, and remediation of contaminated sites
- Participate in environmental and contaminated site projects, including Stage 1 and 2 PSIs, DSIs, remediation programs, and long-term environmental monitoring and maintenance
- Participate in fieldwork involving sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, and surface water
- Participate in decommissioning and remediation programs and remediation system operation and maintenance, including direct contractor oversight
- Assist with preparation of technical reports
- Support project managers with project planning, coordination, reporting, and tracking schedules and budgets
- Assist with technical and financial proposal preparation
- Work independently and in small teams at urban and remote locations
- Support other technical disciplines and multidisciplinary projects
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams
- Contribute to the full project life cycle, including budgeting, planning, coordinating, execution, data analysis, reviews, and reporting

Requirements

- Diploma or degree from a technical college or university in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, ideally within British Columbia
- Previous experience in contaminated sites investigation is a strong asset
- Eligibility for, or progress toward, skilled status with a professional organization such as P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., E.I.T., G.I.T., A.Sc.T, P.Tech, or C.E.T.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset




- Valid driver’s license
- Regular access to a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites and clients
- Passion for fieldwork and availability to work away from home, potentially for up to 2 weeks at a time
- Availability for 5-day field assignments with 10-hour workdays, occasional 6-day workweeks, and possible weekend, holiday, or outside-standard-hours work
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varied weather conditions and on active construction sites
- Ability to work for extended periods in different regions
