Customer Service Coordinator

Ontario Pork, based in Guelph, is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our agricultural marketing division by coordinating logistics, managing data, and ensuring clear and timely communication with producers, transportation providers, and processing partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for farmers, transporters, and processing facilities.
- Communicate scheduling updates, delivery times, and changes with professionalism and clarity.
- Proactively address and resolve issues to maintain smooth transportation and customer satisfaction.
- Organize and manage schedules to ensure timely and productive logistics.
- Prioritize urgent matters and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Ensure all necessary transporter documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including scheduling and pricing data.
- Ensure all contact and contract information is current and complete.
- Support the team with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.




- Assist with pricing coordination and order processing.
- Monitor market data and help administer forward pricing transactions.

Requirements

- Experience in agriculture or familiarity with the agriculture industry is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Self‑motivated with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database application.
