Vice Principal - Elementary - VICEP

Primary Responsibilities

- Online Courses and Saskatchewan Curriculum Delivery:
- Oversee the delivery of online courses by assigning teaching staff, ensuring they meet the standards of centralized course content processes and the Saskatchewan curriculum.
- Collaborate with educators to adapt and implement engaging, effective, and accessible online learning resources.
- Monitor student progress in online courses with Online Teachers and Student Support Teachers and adjust strategies to enhance educational outcomes.

- Teacher Supervision:

- Supervise and support teaching staff to maintain high instructional standards.
- Assist with scheduled performance or appraisal reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through mentorship and guidance.

- Career development:

- Organize and promote ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.




- Ensure all staff members are familiar with and equipped to implement contemporary educational strategies, technologies, and best practices in online learning.
- Foster a culture of life‑long learning and professional growth through the completion and annual review of Professional Growth Plans.

- Student Progress Reports:

- Support and provide assistance with the submission and distribution of accurate, timely, and comprehensive student progress reports.
- Work with Online Teachers and Student Support Teachers to monitor student achievement and identify areas requiring additional support.
- Communicate student progress or onboarding and registration procedures with parents, ensuring transparency and engagement.

Qualifications

- University Bachelor’s Degree
