As a Regulatory Advisor you will have a working knowledge in federal, provincial, and municipal jurisdictions, and have an understanding of the rules and regulations of other regulators that can affect facility and pipeline development and operation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide regulatory guidance and identify application requirements to support project teams in the preparation and submission of regulatory applicationsConceptual review and input of the engineering design for regulatory adherenceCoordinate and collaborate with engineering, land, and environmental teamsPrepare, submit, and manage regulatory applications, amendments, and approvals for facility and pipeline projectsDevelop or review and provide input to detailed scopes of work, design basis documents and project execution plansProvide input to project cost estimate and project scheduleSupport and maintain records, tracking systems, and compliance documentationManage project responsibilities end-to-end, ensuring successful execution from planning through completionParticipate in proposals, scheduling, budgeting and other project management activities,

PFD, Plot Plan, P&ID)Previous experience with AER/BCER/MER facility and pipeline regulations and applicationsKnowledge of ABSA/TSBC/TSASK application requirementsKnowledge of applicable codes and standards (CSA Z662, ASME B31.3)Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or technologist diploma from an accredited university or polytechnic school in a science, engineering, or technology programMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in the oil and gas industryExperience with CER‑regulated and renewable energy projects are considered an assetProfessional designation (APEGA, ASET, or equivalent provincial regulatory body) is required for this positionTypical Office EnvironmentTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
