Job Requirements

- Languages: English.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. No option to work remotely.
- Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, Millwork shop, Commercial.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized, Team player, Punctuality.
- Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

- Cabinets
- Doors and door frames
- Millwork
- Furniture and cabinet remodeling
- Kitchen cabinets and vanities





- Specific Skills:

- Operate woodworking machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components.
- Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage.
- Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
- Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made.
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems.
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints.
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
- Apply varnish, veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products.
