Reporting to the Benefits Advisor, the Advisor Associate – Benefits plays a key role in client engagement and maintaining exceptional client service standards. In this role, you will support the Benefits Advisor by delivering an outstanding client experience through education, seamless documentation flow, and responsive day-to-day support.
This role emphasizes professional growth and development. You will bring a business development mindset to the position, enabling you to retain and build a client base by providing exceptional service and eventually seeking new opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
· Provide excellent client service, assist with onboarding, and deliver presentations and informational webinars to clients.
Client Support and Documentation
· Prepare documentation for client meetings, obtain quotations, and process all client-related paperwork.
· Provide client education, liaise with administrators, and coordinate with providers as needed.
Business Development
· Generate leads and identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and referrals.
Requirements
Education and Experience
· Post-secondary degree or certificate/diploma in business, administration,
or similar, along with completing the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
· Industry experience in group benefits.
· Proven success in growing and retaining a client base in a service sales role, prospecting, and identifying new business opportunities.
· Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.
