On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an experienced AI Governance & Ethics Architect to operationalize our existing AI Governance Framework. The successful candidate will act as a strategic advisor and hands-on architect. Your mission is to take our high-level governance principles and embed them deeply into our engineering, product, and data workflows—ensuring that ethics, fairness, and accountability are foundational to everything we build, not an afterthought.

Key Responsibilities

- Operationalize the Framework: Translate our existing AI governance policy into practical, automated, and manual guardrails within the active product development lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines, model validation, and data procurement).
- Create the Playbook: Architect, write, and launch a comprehensive AI Governance Playbook & Guidebook for product managers, data scientists, and engineers, detailing step-by-step compliance, risk mitigation, and ethical check-gates.
- Champion Ethics-by-Design: Lead workshops and advisory sessions to elevate ethical awareness across teams, establishing clear methodologies for bias detection, explainability ($XAI$), and algorithmic impact assessments.
- Establish Monitoring & Metrics: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and continuous monitoring mechanisms to track model drift, fairness metrics, and compliance adherence over time.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the bridge between the AI engineering team and legal, risk management, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure alignment on corporate compliance.
- Documentation Excellence: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex technical and legal concepts into highly readable, actionable guidebooks and operational playbooks.
- Influence & Empathy and Pragmatic Delivery:

Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to advocate for ethics and focus on creating friction-free governance process that empowers engineering speed rather than bottlenecking it.

Top Skills Necessary
