The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) role is an on-site part time position reporting to the Director of Care. You'll develop personalized care plans, liaise with healthcare providers, and supervise PSWs. Your responsibility is to ensure that care aligns with residents' health needs and advocate for their rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and modify individual care plans
• Liaise with healthcare personnel and families
• Monitor PSW performance and conduct evaluations
• Administer medications and document all actions
• Conduct unit rounds and ensure care quality
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse certificate from Ontario
• Basic CPR certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care settings
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and TB test results
