We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME M) with turboprop aircraft experience to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) team in Calgary, AB.

The Aircraft Maintenance

Engineer (AME-M) - Mechanics is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and modifying aircraft mechanical systems to support the continued airworthiness of De Havilland aircraft. Working within a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) environment, the AME-M performs aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved technical data, manufacturer instructions, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and company procedures. This role supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification, aircraft inspections, and return-to-service activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Duties &

Responsibilities Perform aircraft mechanical maintenance activities including inspection, troubleshooting, repair, removal, installation, modification, and functional testing. Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems including powerplant, flight controls, hydraulics, landing gear, fuel systems, pneumatic systems, and associated components. Diagnose aircraft defects using approved maintenance manuals, schematics, technical publications, and troubleshooting procedures.

Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with AMO procedures, CARs, and approved technical data. Perform aircraft system checks, inspections, operational tests, and functional verifications. Remove, inspect, repair, replace, and install aircraft components while maintaining proper part identification and traceability.

Complete maintenance documentation, task cards, technical records, and electronic records accurately.



Certify maintenance tasks performed within the scope of AME M privileges and applicable AMO authorization. Support aircraft return-to-service activities by ensuring assigned maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report defects, hazards, non-conformances, and safety concerns through the SMS reporting process. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes, tooling, safety, and efficiency.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance personnel as required. Safely operate aircraft ground support equipment and maintenance tooling.

Education &

Experience Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) "M" license. 3-5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Experience working on turboprop aircraft including Dash 8, Q400, Twin Otter, CL-215, or CL-415 is highly desirable. Aircraft type training or aircraft-specific experience is considered an asset. Ability to obtain Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) privileges is considered an asset. Previous AMO experience is considered an asset. Experience, Skills &

Competencies Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems. Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, engineering orders, schematics, and technical publications. Demonstrated troubleshooting and defect rectification skills.

Knowledge of aircraft standard practices and Transport Canada regulations. Solid documentation and record-keeping abilities. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements Ability to work Monday-Friday, 0600-1430. Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
