Role Description The AP Teacher (AP Physics and/or AP Biology) role is a part-time, in office position based in Vancouver, BC. The AP Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering Advanced Placement curriculum, designing engaging lessons, and aligning instruction with AP standards and learning objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and assessments, teaching classes,
providing individualized support and feedback to students, and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
The AP Teacher collaborates with colleagues on curriculum development, participates in school meetings and professional learning activities, and communicates regularly with caregivers about student achievement. The role also involves preparing students for AP examinations, fostering a positive classroom environment, and supporting school-wide academic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should at least hold a Bachelor Degree of Physics or Biology.
- Candidates should possess previous teaching experiences of AP Physics or AP Bio.
- Candidates should delivered track results of AP exam scores.
