Doncaster-Oakcrest Child Care is looking to hire an inclusion support worker for a Grade 3 child in our out of school care program with profound hearing loss who communicates using American Sign Language (ASL) .

Shifts are Monday to Friday. Mornings shifts are 7 am -9 am and afternoon shifts are 2:15 pm - 5:30 pm. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for all shifts.

Requirements are

1. Must be 19 years of age or older
2. Must have 20 hours of childcare related courses (child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition) or be willing to take the Responsible Adult Online Course
3. Must hold a valid first aid certificate
4. Must submit to a criminal record check
5.



Must have an ASL Certificate from a recognized post secondary institution or an equivalent level of life experience using ASL

Experience working with children in a recreational setting is an asset. Only those chosen to be interviewed will be contacted.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
