We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager. As the Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for scheduling the part-time workers and organising coverage during vacations and unforeseen absences. Additionally, the Store Manager is responsible for monitoring and enforcing relevant policies and procedures.

- Over the age 19 at the time of application
- Selling It Right Certification
- Availability and ability to work shifts during the days, nights and on weekends
- Ability to engage with clients in a professional and enthusiastic manner
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Comfortable upholding and enforcing policies and procedures
- Possess a functional laptop computer
Duties With help from the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager responsible for ensuring that the store is open and operational during operating hours, properly staffed and employee activities are conducted according to the expectations of the organization.
The Assistant Store Manager will resolve operational issues and observe employee’s interactions with customers to ensure adherence to Blunt’s retail standards. The
Assistant Store Manager is expected to enthusiastically uphold policies to reinforce best practices and highlight Blunt’s commitment to a professional sales orientated environment.
As the Assistant Store Manager you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Work a minimum of 3-days per week
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking
- Schedule part time employees to ensure adequate coverage
- Organize and coordinate coverage for unexpected absences
- Approve time-off requests
- Ensure compliance with relevant policy, procedures, and regulations
- Meet minimum transaction value and sign up targets
- Encourage and motivate the Team to meet performance targets
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain update knowledge on the current inventory and industry trends
- Ensuring the tasks necessary for the operations of the business completed
- Other tasks as delegated by upper management
